We're building the unified job hunt — because job seekers deserve better than five tabs.
ResumesTailor brings the entire job application surface into one workspace: build a resume, tailor it to every role in 30 seconds, generate a cover letter that sounds like you, ship a portfolio, and reach out for a referral — all without switching tools.
Why we built ResumesTailor
The modern job hunt is fragmented by design. You write a resume in one tool, paste a job description into a second to “tailor” it, draft a cover letter in a third, host a portfolio on a fourth, then open LinkedIn to find someone — anyone — who can flag your application internally. Each step costs minutes; every transition leaks intent.
We started ResumesTailor because the part of the hunt that actually lands interviews — the referral — gets none of the attention the other tools fight for. Tailoring a resume is table stakes in 2026. Walking through the front door of a company without anyone inside to vouch for you is what makes the application disappear.
What makes us different
- One workspace, four pillars. Resume, cover letter, portfolio, and referral outreach share a single source of truth. Update your headline once; it propagates everywhere.
- Referrals as a first-class surface. No other resume tool ships referral discovery, drafting, and reply tracking in one pane. We do.
- Fair pricing. The free tier is actually usable. Pro is $19/month, which is less than a coffee a week and roughly a third of what comparable tools charge.
- ATS-first formatting. Our default templates clear Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, and iCIMS at a 98% pass-through rate — measured on internal benchmarks.
Our principles
- No data sales. Your resume content is yours. We never sell, license, or train public models on private documents.
- No fabricated experience. Tailoring rewrites your real bullets to match a role; it does not invent jobs or skills you don’t have.
- Ship weekly. Public changelog, real release notes, no big-bang launches.
- Word-of-mouth growth. If we’re cheap, it’s because we don’t pay for ads. If we’re honest, it’s because our users tell other users.
Where we’re going
The roadmap is public on the changelog. The short version: deeper referral graph (warm/2nd-degree confidence scoring), browser extension at parity with the bookmarklet, and team workspaces for recruiters and career coaches. If you’d like to build any of it, we’re hiring — see careers.
